 Baltimore-based Techstars Equitech Accelerator will culminate an accelerator program with a ‘Demo Day’ on April 4th at M&T Stadium featuring ten high-growth early-stage startups. The capstone event will be highlighted with a keynote address by Governor Wes Moore.   The diverse tech founders will highlight their company progress and pitch their tech solutions to investors, stakeholders, and community members. The intensive program provides strategic support and acceleration for each startup's growth through structure, mentorship, and access to capital.  Techstars Equitech is missioned to build tech-for-all "equitech" innovation communities in cities across the nation like Baltimore.

Nicknamed the "Greyhound", Dandridge was a four-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA champion, who scored 15,530 points in his career. He was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021. Dandridge also attended HBCU, Norfolk State University.

A teacher at Woodmoor Elementary School in Baltimore has been honored with a $5,000 prize from a national organization called Honored. The organization is a nonprofit based out of Washington DC dedicated to keeping great teachers in the classroom and inspiring a new generation of talent to pursue teaching.
 
Mr. Alexander Blue a fourth-grade grade teacher at Woodmoor combines engaging curricula with deep empathy to form powerful connections with his fourth-grade students. He is one of only two Black teachers at the school and has built a connection with his students that allows them to feel at home in the classroom enabling a higher level of learning. 
 
Mr. Blue talks about his teaching experience, setting an example for students, why it is important to be a Black Male Teacher, and why we need more.
